While film director says "Veeramadevi was a popular warrior who lived in the south Indian history. Sunny is getting trained in sword fighting and martial arts with the professionals trainers from Mumbai".

The Movie will get released in five languages Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu and shoot to kick start from Jan, 2018.

CONTROVERSY:

There were protests against casting Sunny Leone as the character of Veeramadevi.

A petition was also filed against the filming of Veeramadevi at the Madurai High Court but was later resolved.
